The neo-folksman will stop by Lawrence's Liberty Hall on Friday, February 18. Josh Ritter is out on tour supporting his album that dropped earlier this year, So Runs the World Away. (It's named after a line from Hamlet.) In other lit'ry news, Ritter is releasing his first novel in the summer of 2011, too. It's called Bright's Passage. Weird sidenote: Josh Ritter married Dawn Landes, a fellow singer-songwriter, in Branson last year. Check out a video of them playing in their New York kitchen after the jump.
