Warped Tour to return to Sandstone, despite fan's death earlier this year

Vans Warped Tour has announced its 2011 summer tour dates, and Kansas City made the cut, as it always does. What's notable is that the tour is returning to Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone, where earlier this year a Warped Tour fan died of heat exhaustion.  


One would think water would be an especially accessible commodity at the 2011 show, which takes place on July 6. Acts haven't been announced yet, but from now until December 10, you can purchase a holiday ticket package: for $45, you get a ticket, a Warped Tour holiday ornament, and a pair of Warped Tour tube socks.
