'Little Drummer Boy' gets a makeover, thanks to stepbrothers comedians John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell

Christmas can either be merry, jolly and gay, or it can be vaguely disturbing. Take the date-rape-y lyrics of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" for example; or the voyeuristic "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." Another good example? David Bowie and Bing Crosby's version of "Little Drummer Boy," which starts out with an introduction that resembles a porn sketch. Bad acting, good singing: it's begging for parody, yeah? Well, this year, there are two.

Jack Black and Jason Segel did an animated version, which is here. Apparently, they "rockify" the song: "It was very mellow when they did it and it took some imagination and some heavy instrumentation, some power drums, some electric guitar, the obvious things that you use for rockification," Black told Spinner.

John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell's version is here. Wigs, makeup and live acting are involved, so it is arguably funnier.
