David Cook plugs the Riot Room on American Idol

Ever seen this sucker on I-70?

Remember when David Cook won American Idol in 2008? The Blue Springs native is still riding the wave of fame from winning the national TV contest -- and he's plugging Kansas City in the process. This is a video of former American Idol winners in their hometowns. There's video of Cook signing autographs, and his little road-sign on I-70 (see above); but Cook also checks into the Riot Room, and reminisces about his time on the stage. (Does anyone remember him playing there, pre-Idol, by the way?) Watch the whole video if you are so inclined -- or, you can follow the Riot Room's advice: "Skip the shit, Riot Room plug @ 6:59."

Good article...excellent that you included the vid. And, I agree, I couldn't possibly skip any parts that have David in them...there's much more than the Riot Room (it's nice that he plugged them). Other parts about David are at: 4:11-4:26, 5:03-5:15, 6:59-7:24, 8:03, 8:17-8:18, 8:34, 8:41, and many shots of him in the pics shown during the credits....GO, David!!
