Calling all Sheila E. fans!
Do you know Kansas City is an apparent hot spot for hot female drummers? Davey's Uptown does, and it's putting together a show featuring a lineup of girl drummers. Sara Teasley, drummer of the New Lost Souls, has curated the rare treat of a showcase of rhythm-keeping femme fatales that should knock the socks off Kansas City bargoers.
Along with the New Lost Souls, the lineup includes drummers Amy Farrand with the Atlantic Fadeout and Stephanie Williams with the Prolific. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and costs a measly $6. That's $2 a drummer, and it's the cheapest action some of you will see in a while.
