Sheri Parr at the Brick has her schedule full through the end of March. Besides the über-popular karaoke Mondays, Tuesday-night Scrabble Club. and a solid assortment of local rock bands (including Faster Than Hell, Thee Water Moccasins and the High Diving Ponies), Parr has started booking various blues, jazz and soul acts for the bar's early Saturday-evening slot.

So far, the Grand Marquis, Katy Guillen and Go Go Ray and Los Dos Borrachos, a side project of Federation of Horsepower's Gregg Todt and Kriss Ward, have already been booked.

This week, check out blues acoustic guitarist and vocalist Dan Bliss. The cover is $3, and the show begins at 5 p.m. On January 29, there are Katy Gullien and Go Go Ray; on February 5, Los Borrachos, Greg Todt and Kris Ward play. There will be soul-food specials for dinner, and dancing is encouraged.
