It's been over two years since local indie-rock band Republic Tigers released new material. Finally, fans of the Tigers' experimental, layered wall of sound will have the opportunity to get their hands on a brand-new EP, No Land's Man, on this coming Record Store Day. The four-track album, which was self-recorded in Kansas City, will feature three new songs, including their most recent single, "Merrymake It With Me," and a remix of "The Nerve" from their 2008 album, Keep Color.

The album will be released through their label, Chop Shop, on April 16 at all Record Store Day events and will hit the digital wave on April

19. There are also plans to release a color vinyl 7-inch, and the Tigers

will make their first national stage appearance, in support of the EP release, at

South by Southwest at Chop Shop's showcase events. They've also

announced that they are hard at work on their second full-length album,

to be released later this year.
