If you don't know who Arcade Fire is, beware: Hipsters will kill you

HIPSTERS, ATTACK!
By now, you've already seen the Who Is Arcade Fire? Tumblr account, wherein people with Twitter handles like iBieberette (below) ruminate on the band's recent Grammy win by sharing thoughts like these:

Well, now there's a video illustration of what will happen to iBieberette, if s/he isn't protected by the anonymity of the Internet, hipsters will descend, maim and kill.

i seriously doubt a band that has a song criticizing "hipsters," can sell out 3 madison square garden dates and hit #1 would still be a favorite amongst "hipsters."

I assumed the hipster set would be soon disowning Arcade fire, due to their #1 charting album and Grammy success. Nothing breeds hipster contempt like success

Arcade Fire winning a grammy is on par with Barack Obama's nobel peace prize. They are the Beatles and JFK of our generation. If more simple minded people would just listen to Arcade Fire and support Obama, the world would be a better place.
