By now, we're sure you've all listened to, and formed your opinions of, the new Radiohead album, King of Limbs. But just when we thought the alt-rock gods couldn't get any more popular, Fox News got ahold of the album and, um, listened to it backwards.
Apparently, Radiohead is a lot more influential than we originally thought.
On Wednesday, Fox's Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy discussed King of Limbs during a taping of their "Halftime Report." According to the snarky duo, if you play the album backwards, "it sounds exactly the same. It's that awesome." The nutballs also assert that if you play it during the last 37 minutes of Love Actually, it syncs up perfectly. Oh wait -- they're not done. It also works for "movies that haven't been made yet, until the end of time." The only gasps heard from their fellow co-workers? When Gutfeld admits that he hates Love Actually. Seriously. Check the video on Fox News' website here.
Now, we here at Wayward have a sense of humor, but has Fox News really nothing better to do than to pick on Radiohead? It seems so. They continued their sarcastic rants yesterday, this time assuring listeners that the album "causes a rift in time." But for me, the real spine-tingling, make-me-want-to-vomit moment hit when Gutfeld says that "it's been less than a week since the new Radiohead album dropped, and already we're seeing it's affecting Egypt and Libya." I guess they really will look for any seemingly leftist cause to blame for world suffering. Watch this second video, in which they bring in Chris Martin and the Black Eyed Peas for the slaughtering as well, here. Don't worry. They wrote it in 10 minutes. "Take that, Obama." Ugh.

OK, I take back what I said about the Smith Westerns review, but my comment didn't post for at least a day or so on that one. My comment on here went up right away.
Your comment is on the Smith Westerns review. We can't choose to open or close comments; sometimes the system is wonky, and sometimes it isn't.
I think for your next trick, you should punk call Gov. Walker as Sarah Palin. Then everybody will read this post.
You didn't post my comment on your Smith Westerns review but you left the comments open on this?
This is a really shitty excuse for music coverage.
They can write funnier stuff in 10 minutes than you can in a lifetime.
Do you not know what kind of show red eye is? It's satire. It's called research you left wing loon. Try being professional and do it.
I was kinda disappointed in the video when Chris Martin and the Black Eyed Peas weren't literally slaughtered.....
Jenny Kratz is a moron. Imbeciles like you are destroying this country.
Why do left wing chicks have no sense of humor? I guess thats why they are so frustrated.
"I'm an F18, losers, me winner, buh bye" Shee....n says it like it is about you folks
Also, they weren't really making fun of the band as much as they were making fun of ridiculous fans like you worshiping at the alter of Radiohead.
Andy Levy is actually a fan; he is not attacking Radiohead.
RedEye=best show on television.
Yes, a program on FOX NEWS is "cool" enough to satirize Radiohead----and it resonates.
How...utterly...appalling...that you didn't embed the video from Red Eye, because that show is awesome.
"...we here at Wayward have a sense of humor..." REALLY??? Not finding too much evidence of that in this article. Obviously, you have never watched Red Eye before and have no idea what they do there. Both htr's were hysterical, but obviously they went over your head. Andy Levy is always brilliantly funny! If you do not see the humor here, I am very sorry for you. For your own health, lighten up!
I hear that if you listen to king of limbs on fast forward your given the power to cure cancer but only in dogs and only with your mind. Now i have been known to have a sense of humor, wish you where known to have one as well.
"Now, we here at Wayward have a sense of humor..."
Do you? DO YOU?
Somebody's bucking to become a Media Matters junior fellow!
I agree with Abe. I love Radiohead and clearly the boys at Fox were just having a laugh. No harm intended. Margret... I'd love to think this was satire, but it really isn't reading that way.
I would like to think that this article is a joke, but you have clearly demonstrated you have no sense of humor.
WOW. This article is complete rubbish. Get a sense of humor, obviously you worship at the altar of a band because heaven forbid they get made fun of on a show that airs at 3 a.m. Your disdain for Fox News shows as you have somehow twisted this into another instance of Fox News hates liberals. Give me a break
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH
The next time a lefty friend of mine asks why I don't consider myself one of them, I will send them this link!
you're absurd.
Red Eye is a comedy show......they makey the jokey.
Jenny Kratz's next article is on whether or not SNL thinks that the American public was supposed to be fooled into thinking that Dana Carvey is really a church lady. SNL...have you no shame?
Your satirical look at Fox's satire is great. Thanks for the laugh.
This is satire, right? /
you suck. Redeye rocks.
get a sense of humor. buh bye.
Wow, thanks for demonstrating your complete lack of a sense of humor
So sarcasm is ok for Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow, but if Fox News decides to be sarcastic for a minute, they are a bunch of assholes?
*not that Fox news doesn't suck, but you can't bash them for little things like this.
