Present Magazine to stop publishing in April

The publishers of PresentMagazine.com announced today that the online publication would cease publishing at the end of April.

In a letter to readers titled "The future of Present," publishers

Pete Dulin and Pam Taylor wrote that it was time for them "to pursue other goals and opportunities."

"We have done what we set out to do and we are gratified to see others

doing the same," Dulin and Taylor wrote in their letter. "We're ready to step back and focus our time and energy

on other endeavors."

The online-only publication was started in 2005 to cover Kansas City's

creative and small-business community.
