R.I.P., Jimmy Bond of Beatles tribute band Liverpool

Jimmy Bond, one of the founding members of the local Beatles tribute band Liverpool, died yesterday at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Prior to his retirement from music performance in 2006, Jimmy spent 16 years performing as "Paul" in Liverpool, and as drummer, bassist, rhythm guitarist and frontman with party band Plain Jane dating back to 1971.

Plain Jane was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2010.

Jimmy will be greatly missed. To all the fans of Plain Jane, Liverpool and Jimmy Bond, we join you in remembrance of this gentle soul and amazing musical performer. A memorial service is being planned.

Wow. It takes a real jackass to promote a singles dating service on a memorial site for a friend that's passed. Maybe you oughta go to hell and look for a date, pal.

Jimmy's arrangements have been finalized. The service is at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 19th with burial to follow at the Overbrook Cemetary on highway 56.

Attend a singles dating event such as "8 Minute Dating" functions. It can't hurt. Bring a friend if you need a little confidence boost. Check websites like "Lightning Dating" for more information
