Here are three reasons to love Wanda Jackson: The rockabilly star, who first had success in the mid-50s, is widely known as the "first woman to rock." She briefly dated Elvis Presley when the duo toured together and often shared the bill. Unlike traditional clothing worn by female country-music singers
of the time, Jackson wore fringe dresses, high heels and long earrings, and she has claimed she was the first female to put "glamor into country music."
