I purchased my first pair of Vans in high school. They were bright-orange. Sadly, I never got a chance to wear my hazard-cone-colored shoes to a Vans Warped Tour. But I could break them out for this year's tour. (Yeah. I never threw them out. Don't judge.) The Vans Warped Tour will stop at Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone on Wednesday, July 6. Doors at 11 a.m. The show is all-ages. This year's featured bands include Against Me!, 3OH!3, A Day to Remember, and August Burns Red. Check out the rest of the lineup here. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
In high school, I also owned a pair of platform boots and a studded collar. If I still had that stuff (or was willing to admit that I still have that stuff), I'd wear it to Dan Sperry's spooky shock illusion show. He'll poof into the Beaumont Club on Sunday, June 5. Doors open at 6 p.m, and it's all-ages. Razorwire Halo supports. No ticket information.
