Kurt Cobain in Lawrence with William S. Burroughs

Posted by Elke Mermis on Tue, Apr 5, 2011 at 2:07 PM

Today April 8 is the 17th anniversary of the day that Nirvana's Kurt Cobain was found dead after shooting himself at age 27. Here's a photo, thanks to Rolling Stone, of author William S. Burroughs and Cobain at Burrough's Lawrence, Kansas, home. Cobain later said they mostly talked about Leadbelly. R.I.P, Kurt.

All matters of opinion, but only to a degree. My guess is Cobain sold more records and Burroughs more books than you have, Abe.

Do some homework. Burroughs was a trust fund junkie who murdered a guy, pushed heroin and let his friends molest his son. Cobain was a junkie who quit on life and his daughter cause he was mad at record labels.

Just because I'm an asshole doesn't mean I don't tell the truth.
