While the folks at Paste acknowledge that Kanrocksas' name is "a bit weak," they also state that the inaugural event's lineup "is anything but." (The magazine says, "We may be tempted to take a road trip to Kansas.")
Heck, the entire lineup hasn't even been announced yet. The "intriguing" factor could still increase.

New York Fest (August 5-7; White Rabbits, Best Coast; $257 three-day
pass, $100 single day), Rothbury, Michigan's Electric Forest (June 30-July 3; Pretty Lights, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros; $239.50 four-day pass) and Boulder, Colorado's Pearl Street Music Festival (May 6-7; Dr. Dog, Mason Jennings; $69 for two-day pass, $35 single day).
