Whenever I see news about Kings of Leon, I automatically think about pigeon poop. Sure, the band has experienced a lot of success and gained a lot of fans because of their accessible, rock-pop music. To me, though, all their hard work was outshone by a few pigeons' July 2010 performance at the Verizon Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri. As you may recall, the birds ruined the band's set by bombarding the band members' heads with excrement (heh - sorry, guys). See Kings of Leon with Band of Horses at Sandstone on Monday, August 29, at 7 p.m. (sans poop, I hope). The show is all-ages, and tickets go on sale Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m.
