Money Shots: The Good Foot's late-night secret show at the Mustache

On Friday night, after the Good Foot played the Spring Invitational at the Riot Room, the local funk band hauled all its gear to the Mustache Club (and underground DIY venue) and put on a secret 3 a.m. show. Our photographer Forester Michael was on the scene.

I have the same position on this subject as you diy'r. that's why my pals at Must and I have an agreement on pics taken there. these rules were followed. so, no worries and keep calling us out if you think we've stepped over a line. I too want to keep hearing bands at my friends place's.

Unless the Mustache tell us to take down the club's name -- which we'd be more than happy to do -- I don't think mentioning it by name threatens the club in any way. We don't publish DIY venues' addresses, of course; but, when we can, we like to acknowledge the vibrancy of KC's underground.

as great as it is that the pitch is giving our scene some recognition... I think it could be counter productive to mention their name. Maybe think about keeping the club name out of the media so that it doesn't get scrutinized by the authorities?

The Good Foot didn't play the Spring Invitational. Deen-O and the Eskimo Bros., featuring three members of the Good Foot, played (and KILLED IT.)
