Saharan Gazelle Boy, State Bird, Soft Reeds and more are blowing up the fashion ad world

Yesterday we told you about local band Minden's recent luck in landing its new single, "Swift Way On," in a Free People ad campaign. Well, it turns out that a few more of Kansas City's finest have hit the indie fashion jackpot as well -- and interestingly, all four of these bands release albums under local tastemaker label the Record Machine.

State Bird and Soft Reeds play soundtrack to Roxy Clothing's bikini-clad, long-legged summer ad campaign, while Saharan Gazelle Boy's dreamsicle electro-pop supports a host of California surfers in Quicksilver's latest beachy ad. Check out the videos after the jump.
