Show me someone who doesn't love Elvis and I'll show them the door. Introduce me to someone who hates trivia and, well, I'll show them the door, too.

The following two events caught our attention because they are (1) interesting, (2) weird (both events) and (3) involve boozing it up with locals in Elvis garb (the first event). All that just makes you say, hot damn, right?

A theme night to get all shook up about: On Thursday, May 19, the Gusto Lounge hosts Elvis Lives. Attendees will receive a free Elvis costume at the door (sweet) and get to take photos with the "King" (double sweet). Soft Reeds' Ben Grimes will spin dance music upstairs, and DJ Rico will play rockabilly and Elvis hits downstairs. The event is free. Enjoy "The King"-themed drink specials. See the Gusto's new look and cocktail menu, too.

Midtown trivia showdown: Robert Moore of Sonic Spectrum hosts the Midtown Trivia Showdown on the Union of Westport's patio tonight. The new Wednesday trivia night begins at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. The event is sponsored by PBR. Cash, beer and PBR prizes for the top three teams.
