It's all about the solo project next Saturday at Crosstown Station, when Mat Shoare of Everyday/Everynight and Andrew Ashby of the Caves perform without their bands. They'll be joined by singer-songwriter Jenny Carr and local indie starlet Margo May, who is celebrating her homecoming after a stint in Portland, Oregon, recording her new album, space/face.

Shoare and the Everyday/Everynight boys are currently finishing up a tour that technically ends Sunday, June 5, at RecordBar -- the day after Shoare does his solo thing at Crosstown. Ashby and the Caves have been busy playing a string of opening spots for national acts, such as Pepper Rabbit. We haven't heard much from Jenny Carr lately, after she had to cancel her spot in Sonic Spectrum's Pretenders tribute due to illness. And Margo May has been busy landing her fluttery, summertime jams on TV shows, such as MTV's Teen Mom 2. That's a legitimately popular TV show!

Catch the quartet of solo stars at Press at Crosstown Station on Saturday, June 4. The show costs a measly five bucks. For more information, visit the Facebook event page here.
