96.5 the Buzz is starting beef with Kanrocksas

Sezz the Buzz:
Now, there are a lot of things we would spend 200 bucks on ... a high class call girl, a shopping spree at Forever 21 or Valtrex ... but camping on a race track, pissin' in a portapotty and watching a white rapper ain't one of 'em....
It's obviously a jab at
Kanrocksas, which is charging $179 for a two-day pass and boasts Eminem as a headliner. The Buzz's Beach Ball thing -- which is happening at LiveStrong Sporting Park on Friday, August 19, two weeks after Kanrocksas -- has a predictably '90s lineup with headliners
Incubus,
Jane's Addiction and
Bush.
I'm conflicted. Kanrocksas
is a bit overpriced; there's just not enough big draws to justify that ticket price ($225 the day of the event). But the Buzz's show ($45 and on sale Friday at 10 a.m.) isn't exactly looking like a barnburner. I mean, Bush reunion? Don't get me wrong, I bumped
Sixteen Stone when I was 12, but I don't know anybody who's been waiting 15 years to hear them play "
Swallowed" live.
And what's with hatin' on Eminem? What do you guys think? Buzz just being grouchy? Or are they doing the right thing calling out those high ticket prices?
