Titus Andronicus en route to the Riot Room

The Riot Room has really stepped up its game in 2011, booking-wise. Toro Y Moi, War on Drugs, tomorrow night's Asobi Seksu show. And coming Friday, July 1, Titus Andronicus, one of my favorite bands going right now. Also: two very fine local bands on the bill. 


Continents and Cowboy Indian Bear will join Titus Andronicus, along with the Poison Control Center, a solid power-pop act out of Ames, Iowa. That lineup is silly good -- not to be missed.

this was the best news I've heard in a while, when Riot announced it saturday
