Mister Heavenly is a "threesome" -- Sub Pop's words, not mine -- a supergroup that includes Nick Thorburn (Islands, the Unicorns), Ryan Kattner (Man Man) and Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse). The band plays dreamy, blues-infused gloom pop and stops by the Bottleneck on August 27 in support of its new album, Out of Love (Sub Pop, out August 16).
