Wild Flag (members of Sleater-Kinney) coming to RecordBar; stream the single

The Sleater-Kinney ladies have been keeping since retiring their band, what with Quasi and Portlandia and Stephen Malkmus' band and the Corin Tucker Band. and you get the idea. Wild Flag, a punkish group that includes drummer Janet Weiss and guitarist Carrie Brownstein, will release its debut album in September, and the next month, they'll stop by RecordBar.   

The date is Wednesday, October 5. Go here for a stream of their first single.
