The fellas in the Lawrence psych-folk act Karma Vision are goin' out west this fall. Its last Lawrence show of the year was apparently this past Friday at the Love Garden, says member Bobby Sauder.
"We leave on August 30, hitting Hays, Kansas, Denver, Colorado, Grand Junction, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Boise, Idaho, on our way to Seattle, Washington. Then, we'll be coming down the coast all the way to Los Angeles, California, and eastward home through Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma," he says.
"We went on a tour last summer and met some really cool people and played some really fun shows. We share a band trailer with a few other bands and just found out that Appleseed Cast gets back with the trailer on the day before we need to leave with it!"
Karma Vision is also prepping the release of its first full-length album cassette on the Whatever Forever label and a CD on Workerbee Records, based out of Ames, Iowa. The album is named Pizza Power, which we declare is a fine name for a tape, CD, record, party or meal.
