Tim Kasher, frontman of Cursive, is returning to Lawrence. He'll play a solo gig at the Jackpot Saloon on September 9, where he'll sell his EP, Bigamy: More Songs from the Monogamy Sessions, which is a show/Saddle Creek webstore exclusive -- joys!. The Jackpot will also host The War on Drugs on November 1. Purling Hiss and Carter Tanton will support.
Another notable incoming: rawk band Crossfade hits the Beaumont Club on August 21. Red Line Chemistry, New Medicine and Quietly Violent will support. 7 p.m. All-ages.
