The best event that ever happened at The Crosstown in my opinion was when Jim Dandy Mangrum from Black Oak Arkansas appeared with a local band. It wasnt so much the music as it was the convergence of old school rednecks with the hipster crowd, and burlesque performers. It was a surreal experience to say the least watching Jim sign autographs after his performance .
