It’s October, guys. Do you know what that means? Halloween is less than a month away! The fast-approaching day of ghoulish behavior also means it's nearly time for Hammerween (October 22, to be exact).

This year’s Hammerween line-up includes Hammerlord, Troglodyte, At the Left Hand of God, the Roman Holiday, Marasmus, Malikai, and Wrath and Ruin. At the Beaumont Club. Doors open at 5 p.m., and it's all-ages. Cost is $6 with costume, or $10 in advance and at the door.

According to Terry Taylor (promoter, Hammerlord bassist), Hammerlord will play righteous covers and older songs that the band hasn’t played in years. Boo-rific.

If you feel like thrashing around in your tattered Halloween costume after the main event, head to the Riot Room for the Hammerween after-party. Koktopus, Apehanger, and the Cast Pattern will perform. Music starts at midnight. It's 21-and-older, and it's free with a Hammerween ticket stub, or $5 without.
