The Marshmallow Ghosts is a side project where it's hard to know exactly who's involved, other than various members of psychedelic-rock act Black Moth Super Rainbow. The band's label always lists all of the bands the various members are in, but the specific personages are rarely named. Marshmallow Ghosts keeps up the mystery by releasing music only in October, and touring only in conjunction with the release of new music. On its debut full-length, however, we can unequivocably count Hospital Ships' frontman Jordan Geiger among the players on the LP, which also serves as the soundtrack to an album-length music video, entitled Corpse Reviver No. 2.
The album came out last week on Graveface Records, and we've got a taste of the atmospheric spooky pop below, with a stream of "The Attic."
