The upcoming multi-venue 10th anniversary party for
Up to Eleven on Saturday, November 11 — called, aptly, 11.11.11 — features numerous bands, all playing in six different locales in downtown Lawrence. Ranging from the intimate confines of the Eighth Street Taproom's basement to the rather more accommodating confines of The Granada, each venue contains a mixture of bands both large and small. Happily, event organizers have decided to place bigger bands in bigger venues. Cool as it would be to cram Murder By Death into the Replay, it'd simply be impossible for anyone to see them (or get to the bathroom, which is a difficult proposition in the best of circumstances). You can try and plan your venue hopping and ticket purchasing now, because the venue lineup was released last night.
