Punks Beta Maxx and Der Todesking drop new tunes

While we were spending last week eating far too much and drinking even more (a six-pack a night for four nights straight is not recommended, FYI), two of the area's punk acts were putting new tunes online for your digital enjoyment. Lawrence's anarcho-skate-punks Beta Maxx dropped their new demo on Bandcamp, and all five tracks are thrashy goodness. They tease the possibility of an upcoming cassette release of the songs, plus four more.

Kansas City's Der Todesking previewed their upcoming cassette on Soundcloud, with three tracks of unnerving post-punk. They're hoping to have the tape ready for this weekend's Cheap Beer release shows. Take a listen to all the tracks below.
