Shirtify monetizes streaming audio (and sells you bands tees)

For the music fan who has heard everything (and the attendant demo bootlegs, as well) Shirtify ought to be the hot new thing. It also appears to be the best way for you to connect financially with the artists you listen to from streaming providers, like Spotify or Last.fm. You pay a fee — a one-time shot of $35, a three-pack for $99, or an annual subscription of $399 — and Shirtify parses your listening habits. The company then picks one of your more listened-to artists and sends you a T-shirt from said artist. It's not cheap, but the money goes directly to the artist, and you have the option of sending it back if you don't care for it.

"This is not a Fugazi t-shirt made on Shirtify"

DIY - buy your band tees at a show, and then you guarantee the artist gets the max payout

[Full disclosure - I'm one of the co-founders of Shirtify]

Anyone can find their favorite artist or band shirt for sale online, but how many of us do?

That's where we come in. We charge a small premium to do the work for you, while making sure the artists receive the max payout for the shirt. All you have to do is keep listening to your favorite music and we'll take care of the rest!

Wow that's great! Or I could just buy more shirts from the bands themselves and get the shirt I really want and probably buy twice as many shirts for the same money. But I'll give them credit for a new way to make a buck.
