Nurses, Youth Lagoon, the Naked and Famous, and other recently announced shows

Well, the Jackpot is still booking some pretty great shows.

Nurses, a splendid little trio that creates fuzzy psychedelic rock, is touring in support of its new album, Dracula. Nurses stops in Lawrence (at the Jackpot) on January 17 for a 9 p.m. all-ages show; tickets are $7. Support TBA.

Also to the Jackpot: Youth Lagoon! The Fat Possum artist is touring in support of his album The Year of Hibernation (via Pitchfork).

D.R.U.G.S., Hit the Lights, Like Moths to Flames, Sparks the Rescue: Sunday, February 19, all-ages, 6 p.m.
Sabaton, Ancient Creation: Thursday, April 19, all-ages, 6 p.m.

Blackhorse Revival, Jerry Dowell: Friday, December 23, 9 p.m., $5.

Jazzhaus:
Dean Monkey and the Dropouts: Thursday, December 22, 10 p.m., 21-and-older, $3.
Billy Ebeling and the Late for Dinner Band: Friday, December 23, 7 p.m., 21-and-older, $5.
The Brody Buster Band with Brother Bagman: Friday, December 23, 10 p.m., 21-and-older, $5.
No band, no cover, festive fun: Sunday, December 25, 8 p.m.

Midland:
Jim Gaffigan (second show): March 22, 9:30 p.m.
The Naked and Famous: April 17, 7 p.m., all-ages, $15 in advance and $18 at the door, tickets on sale today at 10 a.m.
