Weekend idea: Roy Ayers, Jessica Care Moore, and Louis Reyes Rivera at the Gem

Are you guys jazzed for the Jammin' at the Gem show at the American Jazz Museum this weekend? If not, you should be. Here are a few reasons why:

- This is the first Gem show of 2012.

- Vibraphonist Roy Ayers will perform. Support from two incredibly talented spoken jazz poets, Jessica Care Moore and Louis Reyes Rivera.

- This is the Gem Theater's 100th anniversary season.

Three good reasons, indeed. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45.
