Bands that hail from Athens, Georgia, seem to be particularly apt in the art of funky beat creation.
Reptar, just one of the latest bands to spring forth from the South, makes breezy, easy-to-digest electro-funk. The band recently announced the release date of its debut album,
Body Faucet (hmm). Check for it on May 1 on Vagrant Records.
