Tonight! Lyle Lovett at JCCC

I typically don't love new country, so I'm surprised that I actually enjoy
Lyle Lovett's music. A few years ago, l watched Lovett perform with His Large Band at Starlight. The two-hour show was great, filled with ballads that resembled classic country rather than anything recorded in the last 15 years. Take a listen to Lovett and his band (the Acoustic Group, rather than the Large Band that will perform tonight at 7:30,
Yardley Hall) at
NPR.org. The 105-minute live performance went down at Prospect Park Bandshell in Brooklyn on August 11. Get more tonight when he
