Trimble and a small army of musicians perform a combination of original arrangements of Beatles songs (the music of Lennon and Harrison, specifically) with English baroque and Celtic roots improvisations. And fancy this: All the musicians perform on rare, historic instruments. His show Saturday evening at All Saints Episcopal Church features musicians Darrell Lea (vocals, guitar); Trimble (17th-century viola da gamba); and the New Atlantis group, with Rebecca Bell (harpsichord), Bill Banks (1911 Gibson Mandobass) and Serdar Tuncten (percussion).
All Saints Episcopal Church, 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door or $9 in advance at Aquarius/Vulcan's Forge, 3936 Broadway, 816-931-6303.
