Single-digit temperatures aren't ideal for First Fridays, and I don't expect downtown Kansas City to be buzzing with curious pedestrians this evening. It's more of a pick-a-place-and-hunker-down type of night. A good spot to do so is Midwestern Musical Company, which is hosting two superb local bands: The Conquerors, and the Caves.
